West Yellowstone, Montana, is the West entrance to Yellowstone National Park. It is a small mountain community of about 1200 people at an elevation of 6,666 feet. View live grizzly bears and gray wolves in a naturalistic environment. Fun and educational for the whole family. Interact with naturalists, attend wildlife presentations and films, visit the gift shop or simply relax and watch these fascinating animals with your all-day admission. Museum of the Yellowstone
The Yellowstone Experience awaits you at the recently redesigned Museum of the Yellowstone with the cooperation of the Smithsonian Institution. New programs include walking tours of West Yellowstone's Historic District, interactive family exhibits and interpretive ranger programs. Open May through October.
