Join us here at a Parade Rest Ranch for an evening of fun and unique western dining. Ride by surrey, hay wagon, horseback, or van (based on availability) to our famous outdoor cookout in the mountains.

A grassy meadow and shady Aspen grove frame a beautiful valley view while sizzling steaks and grilled chicken delight your taste buds. The tantalizing smell of outdoor cooking inspires your appetite, while the incredible sunset highlighting the mountains surrounding Hebgen Lake will appease all your other senses.

Dinners are served by our staff at our walk-through buffet line. Then, join us under an outdoor covered dining area to enjoy a leisurely dinner while local western singers entertain. The cookout is a full meal including meat, baked potatoes, baked beans, rolls, salad, dessert, and beverages.

Cookouts are held throughout the summer, weather pending. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes or boots and bringing a sweater or sweatshirt for cooler evening temperatures.

Reservations are required (by 12:00 noon the day of the cookout) and seating is limited, so please call ahead. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure. The surrey, hay wagon and van leaves at 5:30 PM for the cookout.

Horseback rides to the cookout are an additional charge and you must be there by 4:30 PM.

Out door mountain cookouts are automatically included for guests staying on the ranch with all-inclusive packages. Other lodging guests and off-property visitors are welcome to join us!

Costs are as follows:

$37.50 for adults (ages 8 and over) for steak or
  chicken with all the fixings.

$18.00 for children (ages 5-7) for hamburger and
  fixings.
